It has taken me ages to get this movie done as well, but I'm glad I got there. I love the visuals in this one; they make great icons. Not to mention Patricia Arguette. She is enthralling. As usual text is pretty dark. Textless ones can be used either as icons or bases (as long as you credit for the base). Oh and note that the icons are very bloody and there's violence, since the movie is about the crusifiction wounds of Christ being inflicted on a living person.

So the movie isn't that good. Many prefer the original to this badly built and phoney sequel. I just like the concept behind Ashe and Sarah. Everything else is irrelevant. The soundtrack is pretty good and Kirshner and Perez do offer us some eye candy dispite the terrible acting and dialogue. Personally, wouldn't recommend the movie to anyone. As usual the movie was heavily cut and ruined (though Im not sure an un-cut would save much) but there's something that keeps me watching. Meh. Must be Kirshner. She's so fucking beautiful she makes me swoon.

Octane (Pulse in USA) is one of those bad movies you end up watching for a glimpse of JRM (Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who is a god). It stars Mischa Barton & Norman Reedus and has a lot of wasted potential. Why does a vampire movie need to be converted into some freaky cult movie? And if that's done, why the heck can't they remove elements that're obviously off in a non-vampire movie? I mean the whole cult behaviour with "we make people crash their cars so we can bleed them to death and take their blood" was just freaky. Also when JRM bites off Reedus' tongue, I could swear it was a leftover from the old script where Father was still a vampire. Or then it was slash tension with lots of blood.

What can I say? JRM has that reputation. Velvet Goldmine should've said it all... But now I'm getting off track. Onto icons!

Excess Baggage rocks. They have people stuffed in trunks, Alicia being bitchier than normal, cute Benicio & kickass William as Uncle Ray. I even love the easy going soundtrack to bits. Country-ish, ya noe. Generally people don't like this movie. Idiots. Who wants to see those overly fluffy modern day romances where everyone's completely sane and everything clicks from the first glance? No me. Hence the icons.

I love this batch. It because some icons gimme Sin City and others make Alicia look like she's from Goldfinger. Meh. The colors intrigue me. I was high when making them, ya noe. Capped the movie and then made icons till 6 am. Yes, I'm that talented ;)

It's coming in less than two months and hopefully the graphic novel will be mine for reading by Monday. I've been keeping a close eye on the happenings of this movie ever since I first heard of it. The idea tickled me, it had Hugo Weaving and a bald Natalie Portman. Apparently it was enough to pique my interest. The batch is a bit smaller this time due the fact that I only had trailer images to use. I think I'll revisit this subject after a few months. Funny thing, I don't ship Evey/V romantically. I actually prefer their relationship when it's platonic. @@ Anyway, hope you like the icons.

This is a weird movie. I bought it yesterday and loved it instantly for some reason. I mean the graphics look very ugly at times, there's hardly any real point in this movie and it doesn't even tell its story to a satisfying point. Yet I find myself rewatching scenes and talking along as Nikopol quotes Baudelaire's poetry while Horus carries his bloodied body all around. It's just that some times a little detail can strike you more than a whole movie of perfection ever could. Anyway, icons ahead. Som have lyrics from Nightwish's "Beauty of the Beast" and some don't. Ancient rules apply.
