- 10th Kingdom mood themes

Maaaaaan! It's been a long hiatus! Yet it hasn't meant I haven't been doing graphics, just that whenever I started a project, finishing it became so hard. Yet I'm back now and plan to devote the summer for some nifty graphics!

This time I'm posting the three back-to-back made 10th Kingdom mood themes, of which two are generally about the show and the third is about everyone's favourite Wolf. Mood themes share some images, since I was lazy and finding 390 different moods was kinda hard.

You can also mix the images in all three mood themes together and make up your own from them, if you'd like!

- Sarah Connor Chronicles [pre-air pilot] mood theme

Yeah, I liked it. I'll definitely watch this one when it comes out in February. But the moodie? It contains the soon to be reshot school shoot-out scenes, slight nudity and some inaccuracies with the mood icons and the moods they portray since the target fandom was very limited (less than 45 minutes). I'll probably redo this one when the show starts running but for those of you that're enthusiastic about the pilot (I am!), this should do for now ;)

- DOA: Dead or Alive [movie] mood theme

Not the best movie ever made, but damn entertaining for a fighting movie/game fan. Plus Devon Aoki. Yeah, I enjoyed this one weirdly enough. ;))

- Claymore mood theme

Ha! I finished it! I'll probably make a second one once the series has finished running though, seeing as only episodes 1-15 are featured here and we haven't seen a lot of characters yet. Such favourites as Riful & Galatea barely make an appearance. We haven't seen Easley, the Lion King or Luciela yet. Yeah... I definitely need to make another one. But this should do for now ;)

Haven't I been productive this week. I'm so glad I finally got this one made. There's too little Rayne love in the world. Unfortunately, though this is a pairing mood theme, there aren't many mood icons with them together. The canon of the show and it's short run makes it very hard to get them in the same picture. They're obviously trying to hide their relationship from Simon (no, I'm not delusional, just making small talk) ;) ;)

- Battlestar Galactica (2003), Leoben/Kara mood theme

Mock me all you want, it's my OTP for the fandom. They're both my favourite characters and so far I've loved every twist that's come along this long and winding road they've taken. On account of that and my fairly new obsession I decided to honour them with a mood theme.

Now originally I tried to use scenes from episodes that feature the Leoben, but that kinda fell through seeing as there's no knowing if NC Leoben and Flesh&Bone Leoben are even the same. Actually, since I used scenes from "Maelstrom" the mood theme's name should probably be "Kara/Leoben/Kara's Shining Destiny" but let's skip the details of Maelstrom Leoben's true identity. The series is too complex for my brains, so I'll take any Leoben when I see one. ^^

Oh and the moodie isn't entirelly worksafe. I think we have an at least R rating for the show in Finland so this mood theme features violence, sex (a heavy doseage of "Maelstrom" because it was just too frakking beautiful) and other things (like my twisted humour when it comes to interpreting how the icons are related to their moods) that might upset the minds of some people. You don't like, you don't watch. It's as simple as that.

Mood theme's deticated to charming_syrai for getting me into making mood themes and then getting me into the show and the pairing... or was it the pairing that got me into the show?

I had another moment of "enlightenment" and just had to make this mood theme. It isn't a 100% because most of Victoria's art features people that look pretty much either depressed/discontent or lusty. So the amount of source pictures was rather low. Had to improvise a lot with some moods. Deal with it.

- Gah, it's done!

I'm not 100% pleased with this one, but considering I didn't even have caps for eps 6-14, I'd say I did pretty well. Plus me doing this good deed achieved a lot for WHR fans. #1 we now have at least one mood theme. Yay! #2 because I requested for screencaps, they're now posted for eps 15-26. A huge step for this lovely fandom that doesn't seem too popular.

The hugest thanks goes to wabbitseason for being a darling and responding to my request for the cappies. She capped 11 episodes in half a week! This mood theme wouldn't have gotten finished without her.

This is pretty much the shortest time I've ever done a mood theme in: 5 days. Don't worry this one has it's flaws as well. There's more than enough of the Walkin' Dude and his virginal bride Nadine, whereas some characters of the series barely appear in the mood theme. Can't help it, the good guys have very few expressions in this mini series and the wicked, emotionally conflicted and mislead get all the juicy themes. I mean, we have people facing the apocalypse and no one even gets mad at the good camp, they just move on like it's nothing.

I did try though, it's just that almost everything I tried with the good guys turned into either Nadine, Randall or Harold (it gets kinda sad when you try and figure out 10 different angry faces for Randall). People like the judge, Lucy, Susan, Mother Abigail... just not mood theme material (especially that pesky Lucy who has no expressions). Anyway, hope you like it ^^

And I still have the screencaps, and this movie makes such pretty moods. Though I have to admit 2000 screencaps was nowhere near enough! I might have to redo a few moods that were done with lower quality caps if I can get my hands on better caps in the future. The thing is I'd cap it myself but they dun sell the DVD in Finland. I have no idea why. Every Crow movie is here, even Salvation which was terrible!

- The second mood theme this week, Get Over It

I've been a Ben Foster fan ever since seeing him so brutally charming in The Hostage. Thus I began buying his movies. Thus I got my hands on "Get Over It" a modernization of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" that stars the said actor alongside with Kirsten Dunst, Sisqó, Mila Kunis, Shane West, Colin Hanks and Martin Short and so on... It's a perky musical, something that I normally wouldn't be inspired to make graphics of but it has Foster ♥♥

- Surprise, surprise, my first mood theme ever and it's Vampire Princess Miyu

I started this about 6 months ago, grew frustrated, forgot about it, relocated it today and finished it. It uses manga, anime & general illustrations from the fandom, focusing mainly on Larva & Miyu even though others from the said fandom do appear (eg Ranka, Aoi, Yui, Shiina). I'm aware that as my very first mood theme it's not top notch, but the fandom was very hard and I had to improvise a lot with certain moods. However now it's done and I'm here to share it. ^^
